Welcome to teasertrack. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the teasertrack website and related pages. By accessing or using teasertrack, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. What teasertrack is
teasertrack is a free, non-commercial informational website for movie discovery. It helps visitors browse titles, trailers, cast and crew information, genres, release years, collections, and recommendations. teasertrack is not a streaming service. We do not host full movie files for playback, we do not sell tickets as a primary business, and we do not charge users for access to the discovery pages described here.
The project exists to make movie browsing and research easier. Any “Play” style controls on the site are informational or placeholder actions and do not grant a license to watch copyrighted films on teasertrack servers.
2. Eligibility and responsibility
You are responsible for your own internet connection, device security, and compliance with local laws. If you use teasertrack on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. Parents and guardians should supervise minors because movie catalogs can include mature titles supplied by upstream databases.
3. License to use the site
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use teasertrack for personal, non-commercial discovery and informational purposes. You may not copy the site in a way that creates a competing service from our branding, scrape the site aggressively in violation of upstream API rules, attempt to bypass security controls, or misrepresent affiliation with teasertrack, TMDB, or rights holders.
4. Third-party movie data and intellectual property
Almost all movie metadata and many images shown on teasertrack are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) through its API, and/or by related partners. This can include titles, synopses, posters, backdrops, cast lists, crew credits, ratings, release information, keywords, videos, collection data, and watch-provider availability.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. teasertrack does not claim ownership of TMDB content, studio artwork, actor likenesses, trailer videos, or trademarks belonging to others. All such materials remain the property of their respective owners.
If you believe metadata is wrong, incomplete, outdated, or improperly attributed, the correct place to seek correction is TMDB or the relevant rights holder. teasertrack displays upstream information for discovery convenience and is not the authoritative source of that content.
5. Trailers, embeds, and outbound links
Some pages embed or link to trailers hosted by third parties such as YouTube. Some pages display watch-provider information that may link to commercial streaming or rental services. teasertrack does not control those third-party services, their availability, their pricing, their geographic restrictions, or their terms. Clicking away from teasertrack means you are subject to the destination site’s rules and privacy practices.
6. No streaming license
Nothing on teasertrack grants you permission to download, copy, redistribute, publicly perform, or otherwise exploit copyrighted movies beyond ordinary browser access to our informational pages and any third-party embeds those pages lawfully reference. If you want to watch a film, you must use a legitimate service that has rights to offer that film in your region.
7. AI suggestions and search features
teasertrack may offer search and optional suggestion features. Search results depend on TMDB search responses. Suggestion features may generate movie title ideas from a prompt and then attempt to match those titles against TMDB. Suggestions can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, repetitive, or unrelated. You should treat them as experimental discovery aids, not as professional advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of quality or availability.
Do not submit unlawful content, malware, or attempts to manipulate the suggestion system into producing disallowed material. We may disable suggestion features at any time.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use teasertrack to infringe intellectual property rights;
- attack, overload, or disrupt the website or its infrastructure;
- probe or exploit security vulnerabilities;
- scrape or harvest data in ways that violate TMDB API terms or applicable law;
- frame the site misleadingly or impersonate teasertrack or TMDB;
- use automated systems that degrade service for other visitors;
- use the site to distribute spam, phishing, or malicious content.
9. Free and non-commercial nature
teasertrack is operated as a free discovery project and does not charge users for browsing the pages described in these Terms. That does not mean the operators waive all rights in the teasertrack brand, layout, or original text. It also does not mean third-party content becomes free of copyright. “Free to browse” is not the same thing as “free to re-sell someone else’s movie assets.”
10. Disclaimers
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEASERTRACK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT METADATA, RATINGS, TRAILERS, OR WATCH-PROVIDER INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
Movie information can change quickly. Ratings change. Availability changes by country and by hour. Credits get updated. Trailers get removed. teasertrack may cache responses for performance, which can occasionally show information that is briefly out of date compared with TMDB’s live database.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEASERTRACK AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, RELIANCE ON TMDB OR OTHER THIRD-PARTY DATA, TRAILER EMBEDS, OUTBOUND LINKS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.
If a jurisdiction does not allow certain limitations, those limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted. In all cases, any dispute about the accuracy or ownership of movie metadata, artwork, or trailers should be directed primarily to TMDB or the relevant rights holder, because teasertrack is a discovery display layer rather than the originator of that content.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify teasertrack and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right in connection with your use of teasertrack.
13. Copyright complaints and takedown posture
teasertrack aims to display API-provided discovery information and publicly reference trailers through third-party embeds rather than host unauthorized film files. If you are a rights holder and believe a specific display on teasertrack is problematic, contact us through any method listed on the About page and include the URL, a description of the material, and proof of authority. We may remove or modify pages where appropriate. For issues that originate entirely in TMDB’s dataset, we may direct you to TMDB’s processes because we do not control that database.
14. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new effective date. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of teasertrack at any time, including catalogs, suggestion tools, or entire sections. We may block access in cases of abuse or legal risk.
15. Governing framework
These Terms are intended to be interpreted under applicable laws of the operators’ primary place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would produce a different result, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise. If a court finds any provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
16. Entire agreement and related policies
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and statements on the About page, are the entire agreement between you and teasertrack regarding the site. They replace prior oral or written statements about the same subject. Additional notices may appear on individual pages where needed.
17. Plain-language summary
Use teasertrack to discover movies. Do not treat it as a pirate streaming site. Movie data and images mostly come from TMDB and other owners. We are not TMDB. We are not responsible for third-party accuracy or outbound services. Suggestions can be wrong. Do not abuse the site. The service is free and may change. If you need authoritative ownership or correction of movie records, go to TMDB or the rights holder.
